The TheraTouch CX2 is an advanced combination two-channel electrotherapy and ultrasound system that offers the practitioner a wide range of treatment options in one user-friendly unit. Two channels of independent stimulation can be used in a combination or independently and the multi-patient function allows the practitioner to treat up to three patients at once, making it an economical option for a practice. The two channels offer 1 MHz and 3 MHz of therapeutic ultrasound with pulsed and continuous output modes. Therapeutic ultrasound can be combined with stimulation using the dedicated stim output channel, with any available waveform. These waveforms include Interferential, Premodulated, Biphasic (Symmetrical, Asymmetrical, RAAS), NMS, Russian, High Volt, and Microcurrent. The large and easy to read LCD touch screen displays a menu-driven interface which is very simple-to-use. The interface contains evidence-based clinical protocols to guide clinicians to the best treatment for a given indication, including electrode placement suggestions. This intuitive device features eight evidence-based clinical protocols for stimulation, with ability to customize parameters and save up to 99 user-defined protocols for future use. A bilingual interface offers you a choice of English or Spanish. Included with this unit is an ergonomically designed 5 centimeter squared ultrasound applicator with a maximum BNR ratio of 5:1.
