Description
The Rad-G with Temperature measures multiple physiological parameters, including oxygen saturation (SpO2), pulse rate (PR), perfusion index (Pi), pleth variability index (PVi®), respiration rate from the pleth (RRp®), and temperature (Temp) in a single, handheld device to support clinical management.
Masimo has initiated a voluntary product recall on select Rad-G® devices. The recall is only limited to specific serial numbers of devices manufactured between June 2022 and December 2022. Impacted customers will be formally notified of the voluntary product recall by Masimo’s Quality team. Masimo made the decision to initiate a voluntary product recall based on Masimo’s complaint investigation of the Rad-G devices powering off and on without pressing the power button. Masimo’s investigation identified an issue that can result in an unintentional change in the power state.
