Reduce bacterial penetration through the dressing. Resists bacterial colonization within the dressing. Broad-spectrum effectiveness provides protection against gram negative, gram positive and fungi/yeast microorganisms including MRSA and VRE. Limits cross-contamination from patient to the environment. Sterile.
